I was diving off of the Ledge at San Clemente Island. I took a dive down to about 25 feet and a school of bluefin tuna came in on us. I laid out flat and tracked one and took a shot slightly downwards and hit the fish. It was a holding shot and I have a breakaway set up on my Riffe Islander gun. I pulled the fish up on my float line and grabbed its tail with my right hand, whereby it shook violently. I slid my left hand into the gills and grabbed my knife and brained it. I swam it back to the boat and put it in the cooler...and did a happy dance on the deck!!!!!
