Women Sling / Polespear
A couple friends and I were diving in 110 feet of water off of Key West, Florida when I noticed a school of amberjacks swimming up to check us out. The leading fish appeared to be the biggest in the school so I knew I had to act quickly before they swam past me. I loaded my polestar as fast as I could and lined up for the shot. I shot him right behind his gill plate and he took off, swimming straight to the bottom of the ocean. After about 5 minutes of fighting the fish, he finally came into view and I continued to fight him on my float line until I had him in my hands.
