We entered the water with a dropping tide around 10 am. We had seen a few large fish jumping just offshore so headed for deeper water where we can find a spot to hide. The vis was worse than our previous dives but it ended up working in our favor judging by fish behavior that day. I saw a few fish at first but couldn't get in range. About an hour into the dive saw a nice salmon on the end of my breath hold and took the shot. I hit the fish in the center and got a nice grip on the gill not to rip the pole spear out. We got to the shore around low tide and went strait to the closest scale after a nice stop for some halibut and chips.
