I arrived at Alex rock one of my favorite dive spots five miles of shore about10.30 just before low tide so they will be no current I dropped my marker buoy over the rocks loaded my gun and dove down towards the rocks water was considerably clean with 8 to 10 meters visibility as I approached the bottom I saw about 6 or seven ABS all above 10 kg I knew I might break my previous record from new years day, as I hit the bottom Out of no where a much bigger ABS than the others came flying passed me Luckily I was using my Daryl Wong 60” Magnum with 3 bands that I could Maneuver easily to take a shot, so I shot the fish and made sure it doesn’t go Into the rocks and started ascending releasing the line from the reel until I Surfaced and with a great shot I could just drag the fish up towards me where I stuck my knife in its head to bring in the boat . once we got back to the marina We weighed the fish and it was 24.7 kg approx. 55Lbs 8
