We were diving about 4 miles off the nw of the island. I had shot a hogfish and just threw it into the boat. I looked down and spotted the fish feeding on a cut up senate that Chris had thrown out for bait. Noticing the fish was distracted I made my dive and snuck up behind it. It noticed me as I got into range and turned to swim away, and as it turned I shot. I landed a good holding shot and swam the fish to the surface where I subdued it with my dive knife.
