We were head-hopping and arrived at a steep head in about 30'. As I entered the water I immediately saw the fish drifting next to a tall coral formation on the bottom. I eased down to the fish, using the formation to screen me. I rounded the corner and quickly hit the grouper just behind his eyes. The fish died instantly and the slip-tip never fully deployed. I wish all my hunts were that easy (not really).
