Nat and I were doing a drift dive along the outside of a reef just in front of the boat ramp. It was a lovely scenic dive with a sandy bottom and coral bombies every few metres and we were taking turns with the camera and gun. I saw a school of Sweetlips and one looked pretty big, it was swimming slowly away from me so I followed its shadow until it disappeared around a bombie. Diving down the fish was hiding in a dark spot under a piece of coral with a Coral Trout, the Sweetlip was sitting quietly so I shot it in the head, stoning it instantly. I swam it back to the surface and Nat took some photos with the camera. I gave Kyle a wave and he drove over in the boat and put the fish in the chilly bin.
