While we were diving on large coral heads in about 35ft of water, I noticed 2 very large, what I originally thought were Horse Eye Jacks. As I looked closer I noticed they we actually Permits. I got a good breath, swam straight own between two coral heads, they started to swim away but I was able to make one good shot on the fish with my pole spear. I was prepared to hold on, but actually stoned the fish with the shot placement. I didn't realize how big the fish was until I put it on the boat.
