I just got off work and made the 2 hour drive north to my spot. I was trying a new spot and was about 2 hours in to it. I had seen several fish just none worth taking. So i went a little shallower and made a dive. By the time I got to the bottom I realized there was a giant tree right in front of me. So I decided to aim to the right and as soon as I did my fish came right from behind the tree. I hit him right in the head. He still managed to put up a really good fight after bending my spear tip.
