I was had been guiding other divers for a few days and had seen this cubera from the surface as it cruised along the sand 84 feet below. I was diving well so I decided to check out the cave he went into. I made a long drop and glided around the back of a large coral head and decided to have my sling drawn back just in case. Sure enough, this snapper was staring me in the face. I shot it so close that me shaft never left the sling. Brought it up on the same dive.
