andrew and I did a shore dive in Lake Michigan around 8 pm at night. we swam out 100 yards then started to swim west up the shore line in about 15 foot of water. about 15 minutes later a fresh water drum showed up below me. I cocked my polespear and dove to the bottom. the fish swam towards me, I then placed a shot 3-4 inches behind the gill plate. i subdued the fish and tied it to my weight belt. we continued to hunt. I shot another fish about 15 minutes later.
