My husband Cole, our friend Fabian and I loaded up our gear from my sailboat into our inflatable dinghy and headed out of the lagoon to go spearfishing. I brought my 9ft Nomad Headhunter Roller Pole spear and the guys each brought a reel gun. Within 10 minutes of jumping in the water, a nice doggie came swimming towards the flasher. I made a drop down barely moving or kicking and was able to close the gap and get close to the fish. I threw the pole spear and stuck the tuna on the back right in the spine. The shot immediately paralyzed the fish. There was no fight and no sharks! I pulled the fish into me and celebrated the fish of a lifetime! To top it off, Cole captured the entire catch on gopro!
