While breathing up by a small shelf where I had seen some groupers, l noticed the small bait fish below me all dart away in the same direction, so l knew something big was on the hunt. Out of the blue, 3 big yellowjacks appeared so I dove down and shot the biggest one. I let it swim around below me for a minute to keep the other jacks around and give someone else a shot on one, but a reef shark showed up so I quickly pulled it up, dispatched it, and hugged it to the boat.
