We headed out to DEAN Point at around 10.30 in the morning sea condition was very nice and calm and to our surprise visibility was very good for our waters, after spearing a couple of African brown snappers and some some Baracudas we started seeing the long fin Jack crevales different sizes but the usual , at around midday while I was down at about 15 meters looking for big snappers , a couple of big jacks cruised in front of my gun I had perfect shot to the head and the fish froze ,I knew it was big but without the usual fight from these powerful fish I did not expect it will be bigger than my current record which stands at 20.5kg once I loaded it into the boat I was certain its bigger so when we got back we weighed it and it turned out to be 22.2 kg. it was a Wonderfull day diving with my son hoping to head out there again tomorrow .
