I have been wanting this record for a long time. When I got the prototype of the new Maverick America Hybrid gun I had to put it to the test. We got to our first dive spot around 10am. the water was crap, barely 2 foot of vis. We moved to another set of oil rigs and finally found a few with a 10 foot window that broke around 10-15 feet. I missed a monster first with a shorter gun bc of vis. After that I wasnt willing to use anything but the maverick which shot like a sniper riffle! These fish dont fight much. So once I found this guy hanging around it was game over.
