Lake Michigan had been extremely rough water so we decided to checkout some inland lakes. After about an hour of seeing random carp and freshwater drum, I saw this bowfin. I knew he was a big Bowfin so I took my time to line up the shot and hit him solid. Once in the boat you could see what an incredible fish it truly was! A night to remember as my friend Aaron also shot a record size Flathead catfish!!! Two incredible fish on a night we least expected. This is truly what makes spearfishing so rewarding and fun.
