We were taking turns making drops on an oil rig in the GOM out of Fourchon La. We had already shot a few dogs at another rig. I saw this guy in a cluster of rig legs at about 25 feet from surface. Was able to get a good breath and make decent. Ended up shooting the fish and stoning it at aprox 35 ft. Return to surface then to boat. Offloaded the fish and went back for more. No line was used although it was on my gun.
