While shore diving on a beautiful day in the Bahamas, my boyfriend (Kirk Aulin) and I decided to hop in at a spot known for it’s abundant population of mutton snapper. Kirk shot a nice one just ten minutes in, so we knew that the big ones were there. We swam around for about thirty minutes before we saw three mutton snapper patrolling a shallow wreck we had stumbled upon in shallow water. I managed to get mine to rock up in a piece of the wreck and shot the fish twice before getting a decent holding shot. It took me two dives to pull this fish out and successfully put it on the rocks before heading home.
