I jumped in on a school of tuna feeding at the surface on the way out to the reef. I drifted for about 10 minutes with my dive buddy, not seeing any fish until my mate Kalle yelled out "sailfish". I look down to see the sailfish approach me at a rapid speed. As it turned broadside I took the shot with my single roller gun with only a reel. The fish dived immediately and almost spooled my reel before it swam up to the surface and took me for a 3 minute tow. It then began to tire and I was able to pull it to the surface. It wasn't until then that I realised how large the fish was. We made a print and smoked the fish up that night.
