It was a beautiful Sunday morning with clear skies and the outside temp was about 70° which is perfect. I got in the water at about 8 am and was in the water for about 60 min and didn’t see much so I got out and decided I would try a different lake. I was in the water at the other lake and the vis wasn’t as good as the last lake so I headed back to the first lake I was at and got in a different spot. The visibility was about 8-10ft and I saw the fish and took the shot and once he was in my hand I knew he was a fatty and it was possible it could have been a record. The color on these Brook trout are amazing. I was stoked out of my mind after I took it and got it weighed and it was over 5 lbs
