I was doing a shore dive alone in fantastic conditions, clean, calm water. Hadn't seen much fish activity at all so was calling it a day so started to swim back in to where I had entered the water. I looked up to see if I was close to my exit point and as I put my head back in the water I saw the fish had almost swum past - I had a second only to take a shot on this large fish but managed to get an accurate aim and to my great happiness landed my largest Garrick to date!
