I was drifting a strong current over a shallow bottom when I saw a big rock with a cave in its sandy bottom. I dove to check out the cave and saw two average size groupers run to its inside. I hopped on the boat and went up current to do another drift and dive again this cave. I timed my dive well and hit the right spot. When I was approaching the cave, before I saw the groupers, this biggest sweetlips I had seen all trip exits the cave. I did not think twice and landed a solid shot in it's head with my pole spear. Fish died instantly!
