We were diving the oil rigs in the ship shol blocks in the GOM for the La Freedive Rodeo. i went to the middle of the rig and dove through a hazy top mursk to about 50 feet and turned upright. I saw a large school of horseeye entering the rig. As they swam by me, all rather large, i spotted a much larger one and swam to get the shot. Upon surfacing I fought and pulled the fish to keep it from tangling in the rig. I was able to retrieve and subdue the fish with moderate effort. My dive buddy Ritchie was in the boat already with one also.
