It was the first drift of the day and I spotted a good Coral Grouper in by the reef. On my second attempt I managed to get close and placed my shot. The fish took off for a hole in the reef and the sharks raced in. I fought hard to keep the fish out of the reef and pulled it to me as fast as possible, calling the boys over to deter the sharks if necessary. I icky’d it in the head and took my shaft out before passing it to the boat.
