A pair of wahoo had been hanging around and I made multiple dives on them but they would not let me close enough to get a shot. I made a dive down on some large amberjacks deep and the large wahoo came in closer. I took a long time angel shot and hit the tail as it was cruising away from me. The fish dove deep and pulled both float buoys under to about 50-60 ft. After about a minute the buoys re-surfaced and I worked the float line gentley, as I knew I hadn't gotten the best shot and was worried about pulling the tip. Once I got the closer to the surface I dove down and placed a second pole spear shot behind the pectoral fin which went threw. I then worked the fish to the surface and brained it with a dive knife. Whole catch captured on video if needed for submission.
